On Saturday, July 10, 1999, their beautiful white dog named Timber was struck and killed by a speeding motorist while out on her morning walk. Timber was on a leash, but that didn't stop the reckless driver from slamming into her, killing Timber and injuring Kate. An amazing cloud formation appeared later that day, in the evening sky directly above the spot where Timber was killed; and Richard took this photo. (See below for the original photo.) In Richard's words, "Here is a copy of the original digital photograph of our little Timber jumping into the arms of a floating angel. Timber passed on about 8:00 the morning of July 10, 1999 and this anomaly appeared in the evening sky at about 7pm that same evening. As supernatural as it sounds, we know it was her way of letting us know she was all right...and where she was going." More information on the Muccis and their story is included in the book. |
